This Policy sets out the duties of Connectincloud (“the Company”) regarding data protection and the rights of clients, team members, and business contacts (“data subjects”) regarding their personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (“the Regulation”).
The Regulation defines “personal data” as any info involving a known or recognisable ordinary person (a data subject); a recognisable normal person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly.
The Company is keen to maintain the spirit of the law and places a high position on the correct, lawful, and fair handling of all personal data, respecting the legal rights, privacy, and trust of all individuals with whom its agreements.
This text mentions personal data, this is clear as information regarding any living person (a natural person who hereafter will be called the Data Subject) that is not already in the civic domain.

In you making early contact you approve to us maintaining a promotional dialogue with you until you either opt-out (which you can do at any stage) or we decide to desist in promoting our services. The CIC also acts on behalf of its clients in the capacity of a data processor. When working entirely as a data processor, Connectincloud will be performing in the direction of its client and will work hard to ensure that the client is completely GDPR compliant.
Some personal data may be gathered about you from shows, workplaces, sessions, webinars, and tour events, involving the forms and surveys you fill, from records of our communication and phone calls and basics of your visits to our miscellaneous websites, containing but not reduced to personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Connectincloud may from time to time use such information to identify its visitors. Connectincloud may also collect data about the conduct of visitors to its website.
Connectincloud’s website use cookies, which is a string of info that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser offers to the website each time the visitor returns. These cookies help us to identify and track visitors and their website access likings. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to reject cookies before using our website.
Any info we hold about you and your business includes all the particulars we hold about you and any sales dealings plus any third-party data we have obtained about you from public sources and our own contractors such as credit referencing agencies.
We will only collect the data needed so that it can provide you with marketing services, the business does not sell or broker your data, although accidentally there may be times when your information could be confined in data that Connectincloud has bought from a third-party list broker, on behalf of a client.

Through agreeing to this privacy announcement, you are agreeing to us processing your personal data for the purposes outlined. You can withdraw the agreement at any time by Telephone, contacting us by email, or writing to us.

Connectincloud may on occasions pass your Personal Information to third parties alone to process work on its behalf. Connectincloud needs these parties to agree to procedure this information based on our directives and requests constant with this privacy statement and GDPR.
Connectincloud does not broker or pass on information added from your engagement with the agency without your approval. However, Connectincloud may release your Personal Information to meet legal duties, regulations, or valid governmental request. The agency may also impose its Terms and Conditions, including investigating potential violations of its Terms and Conditions to detect, prevent or mitigate scam or security or technical matters; or to protect against imminent harm to the rights, property, or safety of Connectincloud, its clients and/or the wider public.
Retaining Policy
Connectincloud will process personal data during the duration of any agreement and will continue to store only the personal data required for six years after the contract has expired to meet any legal requirements. After six years any personal data not required will be erased.
Data storage
Personal data is held in the EEA using diverse servers. Some individual information is detained outside the EEA in the US using diverse programmes such as Google Drive and different social media solutions. Each service provider is a signature to the EU/US Privacy Shield. Where data is held in countries outside the EEA where likely we will always first check that the supplier has data compliance certification.
Your rights as a data subject
At any point whilst we are in ownership of or processing your individual information, all information subjects have the following rights:
- you have the right to demand a copy of the data that we hold about you.
- you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is mistaken or unfinished.
- in certain conditions you can ask for the information we hold about you to be removed from our archives.
- where certain circumstances apply you have a right to control the handling.
- you have the right to have the information we hold about you shifted to another organisation.
- you have the right to object to certain types of handling such as direct marketing.
- you also have the right not to be subject to the legal consequences of automated processing or profiling.
If we refuse your demand under rights of access, we will offer you a reason as to why, which you have the right to lawfully confront.
Connectincloud at your demand can ratify what data it holds about you and how it is handled.
You can demand the following information:
- classify the contact details of the person or organisation (Connectincloud)
- Contact info of the data security officer, where appropriate.
- The aim of the handling and the legal basis for handling.
- If the managing data is based on the legitimate interests of Connectincloud or a third party such as one of its clients, data about those interests.
- The groups of individual data gathered, saved, and handled.
- Receiver(s) or classifications of receivers that the data is/will be disclosed.
- How long the data will be kept.
- Particulars of your rights to correct, remove, limit, or object to such handling.
- Information about your right to revoke the agreement at any time.
- How to file a protest with the managerial authority
- Whether the provision of individual data is a legal or contractual obligation, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract, as well as whether you are appreciative to provide the individual data and the possible penalties of declining to provide such information.
- The basis of individual data if it wasn’t composed straightforwardly of you.
- Any facts and info of automatic assessment making, such as profiling, and any expressive information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and expected penalties of such handling.
To gather what individual data is held, documentation will be needed
Connectincloud will acknowledge the following procedures of ID when information on your individual data is demanded: a copy of your driving licence, passport, birth certificate, and a utility bill not older than three months.
A minimum of one piece of photographic ID mentioned above and a backup document is needed. If we are dissatisfied with the quality, further info may be required before individual data can be out.
