Our free app provides you with the flexibility of making calls when you are out and about that will show your virtual number as caller ID. We provide it for free of any charge to install and it is easy to set up. App allows both VoIP and GSM calls* to ensure constant connectivity and quality. The desktop app works through Google Chrome and has a click to dial extension making calls quick and easy.

All you need is a strong and stable active internet connectivity via wi-fi or 3G/4G/5G connection, if not the call quality might suffer. If you are unsure of the data connection available you can now switch to GSM calls* which use your mobile network and offer the normal call quality associated with your host network.

The App will transform your smartphone or tablet into a VoIP phone, that you can take anywhere in the world and make calls from your virtual number. The app can also be enabled to receive inbound calls over the internet.

*GSM calls are made using an access number (UK local/national code) in order to get the call to Virtual Landline servers, which seamlessly forward the call to the number you are dialing and showing your Virtual Landline number as caller ID. Calls to our access number, using the GSM call option, will be charged by your mobile network provider at their standard rate, unless you have inclusive UK minutes. The charges for these calls will appear on your network provider’s bill and not Virtual Landline.

The Buzz Box will convert any old handset into a Virtual Landline phone. We configure all Buzz Boxes in-house, just plug it into your broadband router and then plug the phone into the Buzz Box. 

Once the setup of the Buzz Box is ready, you can make and receive calls with your Virtual Landline number. All calls received on the Buzz Box are free and don’t consume any inclusive minutes (excludes Freephone inbound calls)

Add your mobile number as one of the divert numbers (call diversion feature available) and if an incoming call isn’t answered via the Buzz Box, the call gets redirected to your mobile.
